Cassidey began her career in 2000 with "Diary of Desire", starring as an erotic novelist. She appeared in Enrique Iglesias's music video Sad Eyes and made a surprise guest appearance on the internet talk show Tom Green Live, for the host's birthday.

During her hiatus, she worked with children as a counselor, then worked for Brad Greenspan. She also got married to Raylene's younger brother.

She renewed her contract with the Vivid Entertainment label in 2006.
